"Achilli Ratti" anyone?

Hello!
Can anyone shed any light about this club/affiliation? I see that there have been a number of runners who give this name as their club but I can't seem to find owt about it. Just curious as it's not the usual sort of name!

Thanks for that Ali. Just taken a look at the site. An interesting variation on the normal running club.

A few Lostock runners are members and unless you are catholic there's a long waiting list to become a member!

Yes, I've seen some of the benefits (mountain huts etc) and it's tempting. I like the way you have to be proposed/vouched for by two members as well.

Tut, tut Jogd, It's a mountaineering club. It does however have a strong running section who do very well at the serious long stuff. Their club long "walk" is a great do ( for club members and guests) . Usually very long but with excellent support.
