I looked at that book in George Fisher in Keswick last week. Instead plumped for the large hardback book which is a diary of someone's running of the wainwrights, converted into illustrated maps. Can't remember what it's called, but it's a beautifully drawn book, and an ideal present even if I picked it myself!
Also picked up the Wainwright Pennine Way book which has some beautiful pictures.
That book would probably be Over the hill @60 something, by Barry Holmes
That's the one... having spent some time reading today, it's undoubtedly a lovely crafted book to look at, but just too personal to be of much interest, when it comes to reading about the runs (in my amateur opinion).
