    Two wheels bad

What is it with me and cycling? I can't bloody do it. I'm fine on the flat and over little undulations, but the first tiny little excuse for a hill and my legs give up. It takes a few strokes for them to start burning and stiffening and I just can't keep the tempo up. I'm an extremely stubborn person but they defeat me every time. Fitness-wise, I'm not a superfit ultra runner but I'm not Wayne Slob either; I'm a bit puny but I've obviously got some muscle on my legs for hopping up hills, so what the chuff is going on? Am I just feeble or am I doing something wrong? I know there are some two-wheeled warriors on here - any advice would be appreciated.

Blame the bike. That's what cyclists usually do .

Hi .. probably not the bike .. but the way the bike is set-up for you .. lots of people have their saddle too low\high or don't 'connect' their feet to the pedals properly.

Perserve .. cycling is great fun !

also, treat the hills with some respect - use a smaller gear and try and get to the top without slowing down.

    Thanks, guys.

Even in the smallest gear I seem incapable of getting anywhere...I'll persevere and see if I can get this beaten. I don't like not being able to do something.
