Yes you may struggle to find hills Moo. The only info I seem to be able to get on my fell running map is "There be dragons" I'd give it a wide berth if I were you or you might find yourself subscribing to Athletics Weekly.

    Petersfield is nice.
Martin & I spent 4 years in Alton (we moved back 6 years ago), there are a few good trails and footpaths but not many hills. (Just got the OS Explorer 133 out to refresh my memory). Lots of runners and races round there too.

There are worst places to move to!

PM us if you need any further help

Yeah. I think Milton Keynes would be quite bad. Or Peterborough. You, know it always strikes me as totally perverse that they base TGO mag (or is it Trail?) there. can you imagine being an outdoor type journalist and having to be based in peterborough.

Petersfield is an area I used to know quite well; you will certainly find hills - but not mountains. Basically climbs of 200- 300 ft and plenty of up & down trail stuff. I guess 'undulating trail running' would best describe it.

What else can I say, we always used to think Hants was a bit of a sh1t hole, if you can afford to keep away from the towns and live rural, then fine. If you are headed for a town, have a good look and a think first.
Don't roll with a pig in poo. You get covered in poo and the pig likes it.
