    Watched this last night.

A great battle at the front with Mark Scott out-kicking Emile Cairess.

The two of them basically pulled away within the first km.

Matt Elkington ran 32-something and was only just inside the top 50..... a very high standard race.

My clubmate came 13th and mixed it with some real class runners. He's only young as well.

Some other fell names in the top 50 or so.... Jack Wood, Grant Cunliffe

    Results are here.

Race video - mainly front end - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p50wMoDYhok&t=2695s
    starts at about 10 minutes.

Probably among the top 5 10km road races of the year, doesn't always get the depth of the Leeds Abbey but I think that's due to time of year.

But I'd say it's the most pleasant course to run.

Watched that last night, top running by the front two. I was watching it thinking I know those roads - my Wife's Aunt lives in Hurst Green and we go that way. Amazing times, considering how hilly that area is.

WP, its sort of in your neck of the woods and I wondered if you had any info on it?
With 40 mph winds and rain forecast for Sunday I don't think a sub 40 min will be on the cards so shan't be making the trip.

I'll keep looking for another event.

Thanks WP. I'm looking at Chester on Mothers Day, 10th March, but that's only 6 days before Flower Scar, 1st English Champs race. Salford is only 5 days after Edale Skyline, which I really want to do, and 6 days before Lads Leap, 2nd EC.

    Thanks Mr B,

I've had a look but its multi terrain, so probably not fast, and Ras y Gader is the day before!
