The whole race was very well organised. The marshalls were friendly and they were well briefed. Can't fault the event. Parking was a bit of a nightmare. Will get there earlier as I will be back to do it again.
Thanks to all.
30 years and still here.
After this race today i dont know why i dont do a few more road races. Thanks to Blackburn Harriers for great race and good marshalling, will definately do this race again ........ (but why didnt i read this thread earlier and set off slower, damn)
Roll on Auld Lang Syne
Got to mention Fellmonster as well. Great run pal after your trip across the Irish Sea.
Club recognition for the Fell Ponies - shame there was only a brace of you! - but you both beat me!
Hope that you enjoyed it and we night see a team entry by the ponies next year!

We had a good trip out.
First ever road race for me (apart from London Marathon in 92!) and it bloody hurt which means it must be good for you so im sure we'll be back
Great organisation and really well marshalled plus a T-shirt that even my kids like.
Well done
My comments are what a great race!
Cheers for the race on an excellent organised course which was more or less traffic free. Hope the council people enjoyed it!!!

Coming round again on Sunday 28th December.
For them that don't know the course, it's a fast PB course, nice surroundings to race in.
This year for the first time it is fully traffic free.
I look forward to seeing a few of you there.
WPette will be making her 10K debut, all being well - and she may well beat me
I want to do this - just need to get my mum/dad to give me a lift.
