OMM smock still at Bland's for £65, it's got a good reputation.

What about the Montane Litespeed H2o jacket?
I have the H20 litespeed and the DT, it all depends on how waterproof you want your jacket to be? The H20 litespeed is a great jacket but if the weather is really bad then I would go with the DT. But then the DT doesn't pack down as small as the H20 litespeed.

Montane Atomic DT (x-small and small only) for less then £60 here:

    roughgear

If they're too small, there's a couple of other good options on the site.

As I've recommended before - Keela Odin Multi Active Jacket
A real bad weather top designed for running, cycling etc. Waterproof to 5000mm, breathable, pit zips for ventilation, roll away hood.
Not ultra lightweight due to mesh lining, but works very well. £50 - £60.

I use an inov8 mistlite. Folds up neatly to make it's own bumbag and can easily fit my maps, compass and trousers at a squeeze. It's got a hood and a whistle on the buckle. Take it on all my runs.

I used the EDZ fell suit from Lakes Runner at Wasdale and it was fine. Have tried a few waterproofs and none will keep you dry. I felt comfortable in that jacket and it was a long, wet day. However, it was not cold and I don't know how it would do if that was also an issue.

Pedant alert...... I dont want to reopen the whole can of worms but this might or might not be 'waterproof' depending on the views of individual race organisers. They dont have taped seams either so wont be acceptable for some events. Bit of a shame, they seem a good jacket, I suspect from a fell running perspective they are waterproof to all intents and purposes except the one of complying with an exact trades description and/or rule that organisers understandably feel uneasy about relaxing.
