    Thanks chaps

The Cambridge Harriers posse (yes, from Kent...) will be making their our way up to the race, so look out for us in the starting field. Weather permitting,we'll be wearing our light blue vests.

    OK Guys

Driving conditions improving here (5 miles north of the Wrekin) - all bar the smallest side roads are fairly clear except where there's compacted snow.

There's 2 inches of soft snow left in the fields and it's raining gently.

I've had a stinking cold all week so can't update on hill conditions, but it may well still be below zero on the tops.

I'll see y'all tomorrow, though I may marshall not run if I haven't shaken the cough.

been up the Wrekin this am. Raining hard at times and everything is starting to thaw. However.. max -7 forecast tonight - so that means icy roads in the morning. Be careful chaps and have a nice day out

Been raining steadily this afternoon on Wenlock Edge (just down the road from Cardington) only got up to 0 degrees though. Stopped raining now and as said its going to be a cold night, roads will probably be bad in morning so take care.
Trying to shake off a cold myself but desperate to race, will decide in morning but i'm pretty sure i know the outcome.

A great day to be racing in the hills. Fine views and undignified descents.

Fab day out: cold but still air, stunning views and snowy/icy conditions. Wearing my metal-dobbed O-shoes was key as i was able to be agnostic to ice patches and was able to hurl myself down the descents...

Thanks Telford AC and all the helpers, and also folks on here for weather reporting
