2008 Target - advice needed

it should be in the FRA calander this year, and is on 28th June, is that the week after the Ennerdale?

, I want to choose a race, pick a target and really go for it. I;ve always wondered how well i could do if i focussed on one race for a long period and did my absolute best. People usually train for a season, or a round, but a single fell race? I know i never have.

doing the Lakes Classics isn't a single race.
but if you've never focussed on a single race before then you probably need to work out peaking, tapering, race strategies.
In which case the series may provide the opportunity to build towards that one big race learning as you go. Though doing them all is probably not conducive to a single peak race. i.e. Ennerdal, Wasdale Borrowdale all 1 month apart - you couldn't do the first to and peak at Borrowdale.
So you need a plan.

I simply believe that's all there is too it, unless your good. I am a simple soul though
