Hi Dominion, It's been discussed briefly on another thread
http://forum.fellrunner.org.uk/showt...ortimer+forest where Eddie gives a good description.
I like it and I'll be there, but I'm not a fell purist.
Since when was a Cat C race supposed to be this hard??? I must be getting old...
I'm sure it used to be a B in old FRA Calendars.
Perhaps it is an old age thing, like policemen getting younger, etc?
Good run though, never done it before and I really enjoyed it. Not so sure the knees feel that way today though
Well done all.
Looks like it was a popular race;

I've just decided I don't trust you anymore.
I have no idea whether it's 'fell-enough', but yes, I did enjoy it. It's a lot tougher than some cat C's such as the James Herriot. The last climb up from the water station really took it's toll on my legs. I think the 12 miler the day before probably wasn't the best idea.
Results are up by the way.
