At last the forum is back. Surprised at how much i missed reading all the threads.

We'll all be missing it before long.

If there's time before the committee kick the stool, what is or was all the 'gravy' talk about? Something to do with NBLG?

Oxo and Bisto are stuck on Facebook i think - it's like velcro, i tear myself away from that and get stuck over here!

Nice resurrection Mr Brightside. All the gravy talk was indeed to do with NBLG. During the heady days of Forum MkII, the gravy boys perpetrated a raid on the forum whereby they attempted (and succeeded I think) to be the top post on every thread of every section of the forum....we was all smothered in gravy! Daft times!

Not only has the forum been a repository of valuable fell racing and running info, its also been a national social club as this thread reminds us. We've made genuine friends as a consequence without an algorithm pushing 'friend suggestions' at us!

I like the cut of their jib. I still have my brown NBLG tee from when i did the gravy pud fell race.

As a consequence of all that malarky, I became pals with Dominion and swapped a Brycheiniog vest for a Gravy Boys vest (brown with fluoro green text...yeeuchh!). He then supported our Dragons Back and Steam Bunny Bluff ventures. Good times.

Those were good days on here, Friday night anarchy.
Dominion came to stay with us to do a MTB event in the area, he drank about a gallon of wine and still did the event the next morning. Happy days and friendships made.
