    Lifts needed all year round!

My car has conked (carbon emmisions failure)
Bit ironic really, as I bus it, bike it, run it or walk to work (4 miles)
I have a small carbon footprint.
Will need lifts to a lot of races this year.
    Anyone stupid enough?
Or anyone fancy sharing a tandem?
I'll just have to race LOCAL!
    Barnsley area.

You really ought to share transport though!

I wasn't actually asking for lifts!
    Just joking.
I was (sadly) hoping for a bit of friendly banter.
OR a well done from FOE.

Don't worry about your carbon footprint, the world has been saved by our glorious leaders. They have just held extensive talks and agreed to... holding extensive talks in two years time.

    So that's OK then.

You would think they would set the example and use video conferencing technology. Think of all the flights that would save.

Ask yourself the question. Would you fly to Bali or attend a video confrence?

Why don't we kill all the fell runners who care about global warming, or better still why don't they kill themselves. In fact lets extend it to the population, the worlds population.

If people care so much about global warming and the next generation, then they should kill themselves right now. That way you won't be breathing and therefore increasing carbon dioxide levels in the world.

If you're not prepared to go that far, then at the very least stop running.No- just lie down on the bed and don't move.Your breathing will decrease and so will your carbon dioxide levels. This will save the planet and your children according to some of you, but guess what, you'll be dam miserable!

Why should I kill myself because I care about global warming?

You seem to be harbouring a lot of anger, Chris. Have you tried meditation?
