I did a bit of that today. I remembered just in time (well nearly) to stop doing it in the changing room though.

I may go and read 220 in WhSmiths, but it's wrapped up a lot of the time. Tight bastards.
Think I'm going to try for 5 runs, 2 swims and as many cycles as I can manage.

Bought 220 for the first time, quite useful, I'd recommend you get a copy.

Currently, if you subscribe to 220 at £8 something a quarter (or thereabouts, it sounded a lot when i read it!) you can get the first three magazines for £1.

I still have the email if anyone wants me to forward the details.
Why walk when you can run.

    Have I missed something what's 220?

I'm trying to swim at least twice a week and am completly crap! I've now discovered 64 lengths is a mile (thanks Dan) thought it was only 60

Anyway today I did 64 lengths in just over 40 minutes - is this any good I have no idea?

I did 20 lengths just breaststroke then the last 44 swimming breastroke up the pool and frontcrawl or freestyle or whatever it's now called back down the pool.

One girl was in the lane next to me creating a bloody tidal wave every time she shot past which was slightly demoralising - not to mention off putting and annoying when I kept choking and swallowing half the pool Thankfully she only did about 20 lengths then cleared off -don't think my lungs could have coped with the inhalation of much more water!

    It's a triathlon magazine.

A mile is 40 minutes is certainly better than me!

And now I have got "swimmers ear"...

And to think that all this time I had been aspiring to boring things like athlete's foot, or lover's leap.

Sorry, what was that, you're going to have to speak up dear...

[QUOTE=Mud;192920]And now I have got "swimmers ear"...

Uncanny this ,i have just started swimming.
Last night i had trouble sleeping with pain in my ear.
I am sure it is because of the swimming.
Any ideas on how to cure it ?
