Not really...I'll probably regret saying this but as it stands its a lot lot easier than Witton Park because it is a lot better underfoot (well easier for me anyway - the more proper running and the less staggering we have to do the better. In fact, they should hold the bloody thing on a road!)

Come on TF - you had a go at Heaton Park and then advocate - tongue in cheek I'm sure - a tarmac surface!

Only been to a few, but the worst conditions were definitely Sherdley Park - 12km of mud in 2004 - and the worst course Consett in 2005 - we might as well been on a rubbish tip! In fact I think we probably were!

I want to go back to Derby - was that 2001 or 2002?

    That was a tough course!!

    (cue Derby isn't 'North' comments)

Yes I remember Allstree Park, Derby in 2002 FH... a tough, hilly, muddy course on a very wet, windy day. Apparently we wrecked the Golf Course we ran on!!! Still nowhere as near as muddy as Heaton Park was in 1995.
This one in Leeds sounds like it could be tough if muddy...

Yes! But as off yesterday morning conditions underfoot were excellent. Provided we don't have exceptional amounts of rain the week before I don't think it'll be too bad.

Forgive me Track Fairy..... but i'll be doing the ceremonial Rochdale rain dance nearer the time so as to induce 'much' precipitation and to cleanse evil spirits from the earth (Salford and Middleton Harriers.)
