I run for Skipton and it was put off earlier this year due to the poor weather.It should be back next year weather permitting.
I thought it wasn't scheduled in 2007 because Roger Ingham was taking time off for personal reasons (and that man owes the sport nothing, having put in so much over many years.) There was a note from him on p52 of last year's calendar saying the Rombalds Moor races wouldn't be on in 2007; I assumed that meant they'd be back in 2008, but apparently not.

It all depends on whether Shortbank Olympics takes place as the fell race is part of that. Rodger had a bad shoulder but the weather also played a part in last years cancellation.
