Gutted that I can't make the series Welsh Harrier .

There's an outside chance that I may make the last one.

If I survive my first proper hill run in months tomorrow I'll be there for the series.

Is it a mass start or staggered starts?

    Usual kit requirements?

A festival of downhill running.... I LIKE that idea

It's a bit far from me though....

Just got back from 7.7 miles in the Clwyds with a bit of a Jubilee Plunge recce, leg seems ok.

    Anyway a couple more questions:

Do you meet up at the pubs/finishes well in advance of the start times to register then make your way to the start?

or do you make your own way to the start and register there before the race start (3pm/2pm)?

Register at the top - £1 - all start together including me - well it's daft me going up to start everyone off and not racing down myself isn't it!

    Thanks Welsh Harrier,

    Looking forward to it.

Just making sure Race 1 is a 3pm start (at the top) as the others are 2pm starts.

    Cheers Chris.

    Re: Downhill Clwydians Races

Race 1 done and what a great little race it was.

Weather wasn't brilliant but in no way detracted from my enjoyment.

This race was the one I was most worried about as I was not familiar with the course at all. But running up in reverse with Chris giving me tips had me sorted.

    See you all tomorrow

Thanks to Martin for organising and his wife(?) for time keeping. Great job.

    How many raced?

We were meant to, but came down with that sore throat thing that everyone seems to have at the moment, only lasted one day, but gave it a miss. Iff tO Scotland tommorrow so will miss the rest too, which is a petty.
