Not sure if it comes under fell races, but as anyone done this one.
Any info appreciated.

Funnily enough I have been looking at this/these races earlier this afternoon.
The date is 26 July 2008 with Davos being the centre for all the various events taking place.
If you go on to http://www.alpine-davos.ch/cms/overview.phtml you can sign up for an e-mail newsletter to keep you up dated etc.
I have been to Davos a couple of times just walking but fancy doing one of the events of which there are a quite a few.
Hope this helps
Thanks rufus, I've been on the website and fancy doing the marathon.
Couldn't seem to find much info on the ascent etc.
My wife and I did this in 2005. I did the shortest race, the K21, she did the K28. I was a 2hr+ half marathoner at the time and did the K21 in 3hr+.... It was hard, steep & rough in parts. Along paths & tracks also with some road sections. The current K21 event is completely new from the one I did, as it now goes south from Klosters to Davos where mine went along some sections of the K28 race. It's worth a look at the profile. The K28 race highest point is over 1700m with the finish in Davos at 1500m.
We travelled with Mike Gratton's company "209 Events" and we stayed for just over a week although you can go for just 3 days. We flew from Manchester. They do all the travel booking and organise some recce walks over different sections of the various courses. They have been going there for many years, to the same hotel. As you might guess, it wasn't cheap! More info available at their web site here.
We really enjoyed both the race and the holiday.
Would you recomend 209 events? My other half wants to do the Buhtan kingdom marathon also organised by them.
The 5.5k puts me off a little.
The usual answer - "it depends".... The quick answer is - yes I would recommend them.
The organisation when booking seemed OK, pretty efficient and fairly flexible. On the actual holiday, things were organised and available for you do, but the atmosphere was fairly relaxed, there wasn't any pressure to do anything. I don't know whether he's on all of them but Mike Gratton himself was on our holiday, still a very quick runner despite his now ample girth! He was a genial host, very good socially with lots of good anecdotes & training advice, enjoys a beer and a night out.
You'll have to make your own decision about price - not cheap but are they value for money? I thought so.
