We seem to have had slightly warmer air temps (not much, but better than the rest of the country), rain yesterday, rain today. Everything grey and dismal!

A couple of centimetres of snow on the ground so far in Ambleside. A microspikes day.

Same here in the Cheshire Peak.

I hope it freezes, so I can test my DIY ice studs on my lunchtime walk.

Nowt here in the North Pennines (a few flakes in the air at best) so far, and a hard frost on the ground. Lovely sunny dawn and not even a hint of breeze. Great running weather for the Spine.

Just above Blackburn woke up to about 2" and it's snow on and off since.

Off atm and looking like it's starting to thaw.

Not a single snowflake here in Leicestershire; but on today's run up Beacon Hill, it was clear enough for me to see the snow cover on the Roaches.
