Muir Morton (Pennine) 'beat' Mike Blake's time in the last 15 years but the scurrilous rumour is that they couldn't let an Englander win on S4C. Can't remember what his time was, but I think Ewan beats it.

Poor S4C. I remember spending hours watching a long programme around a Snowdon race in which S4C interviewed (it seemed) every decent competitor who spoke Welsh and aspired to a good result.
Unfortunately after hours of unbroken Welsh (helpfully subtitled) Andi Jones won the race yet again (he won it 6 times in total) and, of course, could only be interviewed in English.
