Ran Duddon(solo recce) on Sunday 6th which was good fun in the snow and cloudy conditions with snow covering especially up Little Stand.I found the route to be quite runnable and look forward to the race Next Month.

Hi Gazj,

Is the route easy enough to get round when the cloud is down. Ill be going up at weekend hopefully. I did nt go last week, as the weather looked abit ropey and my navigation skills are pretty poor.

Well I am out of the Duddon as my best friend is having his 40th party/barbbi that afternoon. So focus shifts to Ennerdale and then 'the Beast.'

I am likely to go round Ennerdale again on one day from 26-28th April if anyone is interested in a plod.

Looking at Wasdale anytime after May 18th.

Sol i am no navigation expert and i found the route not too bad to get round as there is quite an established race route.i used 0L6 but took along the Duddon Fell race sheet from Pete bland sports and i have to say this is well worth buying at £2.50.I also have recced Sedbergh Hills using only one of these maps and would recommend anyone buying them.(No im not on commision!!).
