I remember coming home about 2am thinking 'what a night' and being over the moon and wanting to tell the world our news. I can remember one of the nurses saying to me its very comon for fathers to faint at the birth. Perhaps next time I should take something to eat with us - Chinese or an Indian?
Tracey did eventually get a cuppa from the nurses and also a piece of toast. She says I wanted the limelight think she was right.
I remember coming home when our second was born, getting our Sam fed, bathed and in bed, thinking she's gonna be in overnight. Looking forward to wetting the babies head, then getting a phone call just as i'm opening first tinny, Don't have a drink cos as soon as the docter's been round they may let me out. Sure enough, an hour later, come and get me. Wakes Sam up goes and gets me girls. Sam and wife go to sleep, i'm up all night with baby girl. Don't know what i'm moaning about, it was one of the best nights of my life
