    Dogs and wind

Now I know what some of you are like on this forum so wipe that smirk off your face for a start.

However I have just come in from a VERY windy run with my border collie Rani, and she goes absolutely MENTAL! in the wind, frolicing and chasing me, and skipping and sprinting everywhere.

Of course she could be copying me sort of as I stumble and get blown about and she thinks I am playing, but even if I am walking her in the wind she just seems to love wind. Is this just her, a collie thing or a general dog thing?

And I thought you could somehow smell the unpleasant odour gently wafting through from the kitchen at this very moment .

The cats are the same when they have been out in windy weather - they come in and start legging it around the house at 100mph. Send 'em crackers.
