    I noticed those too, lots of empties about 1.5 miles from the end (not me).

    Well I always stuff empties down my bra. You should have seen what was inside at the end of the 3 peaks..... mmmmmm lovely. A few folk got an eye ful as I emptied out at the end.(Empty gel packets, Dates, jelly babies, uneaten flapjack...you name it....)

    loads of carbs
    sometimes put a dab of mintsauce on to liven em up

    Totally agree Emmilou, SIS gel sachets are beginning to litter paths all over. Lol , Moo, the bra idea seems fun!!
    As a general point , i always seem to finish races (i only tend to do 20+ milers) with food. Some LDWA event food is great. The Dovedale Dipper this year (non LDWA) just had biscuits, very , very bland biscuits. But all the same , a very pretty run and good craic.
