Hills and Guinness!
I downloaded the route the other day....
I'd definately need to buy a lighter bike before I thought about that one??
or a fixie??
Any other forumites going to be there on Sunday?
Looking like an early start might be on the cards from the weather forecast. I'll be on a black Planet X...possibly with a comedy MTB rear mudguard bodged onto it...
Rob Jebb is racing the British Champion fellrace in Ireland on Saturday then flying back to compete in Fred Whitton on Sunday.

I'm doing it for the first time and am well 'up for it'. A few runners on the entry list as usual. Am looking fwd to it but the forecast is a bit worrying - windy and possibly wet. 7 hours just a pipe dream I fear
Any tips eliptic?
I am on the list too... I hope to God it won't be wet... Just trying to work out when to start, 6 am, 7 am, 8.30?
Been told to aim for sub 7, thought I was going for sub 8, but it is so insanely hard I probably loose it after a couple of climbs. I am not exactly what you would call a good climber :w00t:
