    Re: 3 peaks?

I was around there on Saturday with Tomsk & Mad Simon (Winter BG'er!). We did PYG & Inglebugger (taking in Park Fell & skirting Simon Fell) - essentially you get in all the runnable bits and get to re-live the losing the will to live experience of the Inglebugger run in to Horton!! I was the one they had to wait for whilst I enjoyed my first bonk of the year.
    It can only get better

You shouldn't be bonking at your age Alsoran! Hope you're going to be fit for Carnethy.

I've been out and run over two of them today (Ingleborough and Whernside, with Simon Fell and Park Fell in between) and that was knackering enough so it might be me
Thanks for the info re: bat run but its hard enough for me in good daylight.

To tell you the truth what shoes you wear is completely swings and roundabouts. Everything from rubble, grass, tussocks, rocks, bogs, gravel and tarmac and all in equal proportions

The weather forcast from Wednesday onwards is rain so I'd err towards fell shoes.
