Excellent Iain, which club is that?

I'll be marshalling as your turn onto the A6.

    Have a good run

Eryri, green vests with a red/orange? and white hoop. I'm easy to spot as I have my arm in a cast to the elbow.

Should have no problem spotting you then!!

    Do you know the course?

There's a hill near the start and then a good hill half way round!

No idea at all about the course, a mate mentioned it at the weekend, and it looks the closest road race to me this weekend, so thought I'd give it a go. With my wrist I can't risk racing on the fells at the moment, so looked at the calendars and this looked a decent race, without being too packed/expensive/already full that some of the English ones tend to be.

It's a good race and a good course, the start is up hill along country lanes then it levels up and then drops down hill past Lostock train station, then there's the big climb up, then it's not too bad after that.

Just be ready after going over the hump back bridge with the train station on your left that the hill is coming.

Oxo had the old course record, would be good to see him or even roadrunner have a crack at it and get a new course record.

This is a good race - I ran it last year. Problem is that it is on the same weekend as the National XC so there'll be less there this time. Last year it was 2 weeks before, so there was a large field. Organisation was excellent.

Yes Pinno enter on the day, it's near the reebok stadium in case you don't know where it is.

Numbers aren't really down this year due to the National XC, it really only affects a few of the front runners.
