quite fancy this, but never been on a recce before, and bit worried that I would be too slow, not know what I was doing and hold everybody up
Recce'd Leg 1 of BG before Christmas in driving sleet and high winds with Mr & Mrs Crumbly. Ok, so I slowed them down a bit, but we all gained something from the day, even if lost my specs. I learnt a lot:
1) I'll never be completing a BG
2) Take yer specs off in high winds
3) Mungrisdale Common is probably very pretty in the right weather.
Good luck mate and enjoy it. Surely the idea of a recce is sociable as well as fact finding?
Depending on how my off duty falls, I'll plan to do it, but there may be domestic constraints to take on board (we've all got them).
I'll be in touch.
P.S. never been on Kinder in my life.
