What a race, nearly got blew off the tops a few times.

not suprised yee manageed to stay on the course, your lardy backside keeps holding yee to planet earth quite well these days..

i got blew over twice and fell on my ass 3 times on that last descent but really loved the route.
ran lots of the return journey with the lady from calder valley who spured me on so thanks to her , not sure of her name but i hope she got first lady. Saw Sally Newman out walking as well. The first climb hurt like hell but managed to pick up a bit after that once i was on familiar territory.
Some serious gusts on top but it was a case of got to keep running. Ran part the route the day before but couldnt find the last descent which i have to say is one of the most thrilling ive ever done.

thats my mate James from erewash, he was telling me he had been out for 3 months and first fell race back

[hands up] i am that fallen runner from Erewash : ) - I thought the camera guy had seen a rare bird, and not the hilarity of me trying to descend Calfow Pike on my back side

brilliant race / cake / tea / company / pics - well worth the drive up from Nottingham
