Note that the start details say "assembly times from 7.45" and not "start times". With the Elite/A having a single assembly time.
So my guess is Elite/A are going by train, the rest of us by bus.
All my guesses so far have been wrong

Two twists probably.
My guess:
Train to Mallaig.
Boat over to Inverie on Knoydart.
Midway camp in Glen Dessarry.
Pretty much bang on distance wise for the C class.
That'd be great, but we'd spend half the day just getting to the start!
We were in Glen Dessary between Strathan and Upper Glendessary a few months ago but didn't see a microlioght landing strip. Then again, we weren't looking for one!
That's still my guess for the midcamp though as they presumably need road access to get the portaloos in and out.
...unless it's Glen Loy
hmm -if i remember rightly the ferry is about 40mins, and i guess they would charter it specially. I guess the train would be about the same and chartered too, so no more than a couple of hours at worst. The bonus is that it reduces the number of hours twiddling thumbs at midway...
Not necessarily portaloos -as the still have trench latrines at lamm. though still need access for vehicles and for generators for computing etc.
