    Your Pasta eating record?

Back from a long weekend run, I was famished on Friday. So cooked up some pasta for my supper.

I weighed out 350 grams (dry weight) of pasta shells, and added a jar of some sauce + some peas. It says on the pack 75 - 100 grams per person, so guess I did fairly well for a little lad

Can anyone better 350 grams initial dry weight at a sitting?
Don't roll with a pig in poo. You get covered in poo and the pig likes it.

Go for it Roger, I never weighed my pasta before and always just tipped a load in the pan.

For interest I decided to weigh it this time, was a little shocked - but was still only about 1000 calories I think

I also just tip it in and hope for the best (isn't that what you're supposed to do?) I always make the mistake of eating loads of bread with my pasta - making little sandwiches as I go. I then spend the next hour bloated up like that bloke in Cool Hand Luke!
I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep.

That's LOADS! When backpacking I reckon on 200g for a hungry hiker at the end of a long day. If absolutely ravenous then 225g. 350g is impressive. I don't think I could actually eat all that though!

    pasta sandwiches??!!

No idea how much I eat - I also just tip some in the pan!

I have got a neat little spaghetti measuring tool though. It's flat with different sized holes in it for 1, 2, 3 or 4 portions. You poke the spaghetti through until the hole is full and hey presto the perfect sized portions Still no idea how much it weighs though

It's the food of champions. There's not many foods that don't go great in a sandwich.
