I just chuck it in the pan normally, but with 2 adults and 3 kids we use about 1Kg (2 bags) for us all. So even going on the fact the kids don't each as much as an adult (debatable with 2 of ours!) that still wouldn't be 350g I eat!!

Can anyone better 350 grams initial dry weight at a sitting?
Having lived with Oxo, I am in absolutely no doubt that he would smash this record! He's a pasta monster

This is the whole point, many years of chucking it in the pan have served me well. Then one night I decided to weigh it, and check with the "recommended portion" on the packet . The "recommended portion" is certainly fairly crap for us fell runners.

So what is a fell runners "Recommended Portion" weight, and what is a serious "Pig Out" weight of pasta ?

Bung it on the scales next time - I'm interested
Don't roll with a pig in poo. You get covered in poo and the pig likes it.

Recommended minimum - 3 large plates in one sitting

Pig out... Ten portions or more!!!

Love the after race pasta dinner on the MMM, there's Pasta with all the different sources & chips. I just get the whole lot on my plate & then go back for seconds. I usually have about 3 sittings of rice pudding desert afterwards as well!!!!
