    dental support

following an incident at the recent Liver Hill fell race I wonder what the forum view would be on the introduction of dental checks as well as mobile fone and kit checks?
One of our club members J*hn ( Iii disguise his name to avoid possible embarrassment) was doing the race, when his false tooth came out and became lodged in his throat. Fortunately for Jo*n a following paramedic/fellrunner just behind administered a sharp blow to the back of John'* head ,send the tooth down into his gut ,thereby stopping *ohn's journey to the pearly gates.
The good news is following the post race curry down at the local Indian Joh* was reunited with his tooth a mere 8eight hours later ,also his (alleged) pile problem appears resolved.

As long as the dental checks at fell races cost less than at dentists! Actually.... Our club chairman is a dentist. And he used to be a decent fellrunner!

I think we're going to have to brace ourselves for more dental punditry.
