Tonight's music? None.
My external hard drive has just died, taking about 10,000 songs with it.
Advice: a clicking hard drive is about to expire. Back it up while you still can.
"Get yourself together, Jones" - Ray Davies
That's bad luck, but you're right about the advice.
Disk space is cheap these days. Keep one copy on your hard drive. Keep another copy on another hard drive. Keep a third copy on a removable hard drive, and keep that one hidden in the garage, or at somebody else's house, updating it every few weeks or months. Don't trust any copying/backup software to get it right either. Copy it yourself by hand from Windows Explorer or your Apple equivalent. That way your music is reasonably safe from hardware failure, fire and theft. It's not really very hard to do, & doesn't cost that much.
