I used to be part of the furniture there, went to the AGM several times. It's a really close sort of family racing scene, with the kids races first and the parents after, and the courses are pretty brutal. It will certainly improve your descending. Route choice is absolutely critical, most races are flags up, but take your own way down.

Your excellent 1.28 will be a good target for Travs and Mr B to aim for!

As Travs has already pointed out, the present course has a longer descent route than the one we did in the 1980's. The winning times in both the years we ran were several minutes faster than the current record.
