You will need a new passport soon Merry. You have crossed the border so many times recently.

Cracking day out in the hills, a bit too hot for sweaty folk like me though.
Beautiful location, fantastic buffet made for a relaxed after run atmosphere.

Well done to you too Merry and Amex, good to meet you Amex.
oh the pain coming off that last ridge was only intensified upon reaching that short length of tarmac to the finish.
Hope to return next year for another bash.

Thank you to everyone who supported our first attempt at organising a fell race. A huge thanks to marshalls and time keepers. Any constructive comments would be greatly appreciated. We have a couple of pieces of lost property, please get in touch for a safe return.

A fantastic bit of organisation imo - thanks Mike and Hazel and I hope you're both in charge next year.

For me - first Lakeland race and a bloody shock pity my ankles wouldn't let me descend properly, so a totally rubbish performance but I'll be back next year to smash the time.

What a fantastic day for a race

Can't agree more, what an incredible day. This was my first fell race in the lakes, my first over that kind of distance and only my third ever!! Must say it felt like a leap into the deep end!! I'm still sore now! I'm addicted tho and am going to try and shuffle and stuble my way around Fairfield!!

    Many thanks to the organisers.
