I have managed to avoid going shopping with most of my ex's. However the one I did go shopping with was enough to put me off shopping with women for life!!! She tried on about umpteen different dresses in umpteen different stores & ended up deciding to go back and by the original one she tried on in the first store!!

Fortunately her dad was with us & he was a sound bloke, so we were able to give each other moral support. LOL everytime she came out with a dress on we kept saying "Yes Charlotte, that looks really lovely, it really suits you" & she still found a reason not to choose that particular one!!!

Strange but my Mum doesn't fit that mold however, she doesn't shop much & when she does it's the blokey approach - straight in & buy the first cheapest (but healthy) thing you can find!!
    I'm so naughty!!!!!!

There was a big Mill Shopping Complex in Batley called SKOPOS which used to have a 'Mans Creche' There were TV's with sports on, the biggest scalextrix track you've ever seen and a bar !! Now that took some beating. Unfortunately it is now just another 'cafe' full of grannies and screaming kids !
If you cant change something, change the way you feel about it !

That must be the one I read about a few years back. Any decent shopping centre should realise this and put a bookstore/sports shop/outdoor place next to every dress shop. They would make a roaring trade!!
    www.vlaevents.co.uk Fancy something different?

what! when I was that age my dad would only buy me "necessary" clothes ie school clothes and wardrobe basics and new shoes when my old ones wore out.
Then if I wanted to spend my allowance or pocket money or whatever on designer clothes that was up to me.

I am beginning to realise I was hard done to as a child and that he owes me big time
