What you need to do is stand in such a position whereby you might get a glimpse through the curtains of one of the other stalls in order to gain a sneaky ogle at other ladies trying on stuff If all else fails ogle the staff. Passes the time ok.

...and don't forget the laptop, food vouchers and rent money OneHill. Chuck in deposit money for house, gas bill (always a good one ) and new tele for good effect. Use these as negotiation ploys. He'll not give in to all but you'll get a good go for the car!

By the way Daz, best approach I find is to mandate* "I'll meet you in the <bookshop> < outdoor shop> < cafe> <...whatever you want to do...> at <x:00hrs>" where x is 30 minutes before you actually want to meet up again (...just to allow for that extra time that's always so appreciated and so you don't get cross if they're just a few minutes late...)

Good luck Daz. We'll think ov'ya.

    * Just say that this is how it's going to work. Any hint of a "suggestion" or question just allows a "but don't you want to help me choose said x"
...there's a hill nearby missing its fool...
