Gutted I'm missing it this year, but ran it a couple of days after Dovestone Diamond last year and my legs were shot by halfway so didn't fancy struggling with it again. hopefully be back in 2015 for what's definitely my favourite race

I already did the river crossing on Gritstone Tryal last month, but keen to do it again
this is one of those races I've been meaning to do for years, so should be all the more satisfying to register my first time...

Looking forward to it as ever, brilliant race Great to see that it's 'uphill finish' year (Burnt House Farm) - my favourite! Hope the rain eases so we don't miss the river crossing.

Great race, nice to run the hardest of the 3 routes, set off far too quick but hard not too down that hill, managed just under 51 about 41st place so not too shabby, will definately do again next year.

fantastic run - route had a bit of everything, you could never really settle as the gradient/underfoot conditions never stayed the same for more than a couple of hundred yards
Congrats to Clare (Muddy) on 3rd Lady & 1st LV40!
I incurred the wrath of another runner when I cut a corner (force of habit! ) so watch out for me being DQ'd!
trout was DELICIOUS - noshed it for my tea
