    More in "troughing" mode this last week or so.....

    Today: bowl of cereal, toast & marmalade, bacon (4 rashers) & egg sandwich for lunch, finished off kids meat 'n' taty pie when I got in after my run, curry feast from the Aagrah tonight.

    Beer battered Haddock, chips, mushy peas and salad for dinner, Pasta in tomato and basil sauce and lamburgers for tea, washed down with Westons organic draught vintage cider 7.3%, no Thatchers Katy cider left in Tesco's
    Not too many though, planning an easy 20 miler tommoz as prep for Duddon
    Hills and Guinness!

    Last night:
    risotto: with porcini (hand picked by a friend in Italy, sun dried), fried beetroot stem, beetroot leaves, toasted pine nuts, garlic, butter, fresh parmigiano, cooked with veggie stock made by me the previous night.
    salad: beef tomato, lettuce from my garden, carrot, red pepper, red onion, seasoned as usual with shoyou (soy sauce), rice vinegar, and extra virgin olive oil, with rye bread hand made by my wife.
    tavernello (red wine)

    today breakfast
    1 mango, 1 apple, choco cereal and milk, espresso

    today luch (will be)
    rye bread (hand made by my wife) with smoked scottish salmon, pesto (made by me: spinach, pine nuts, hard cheese, garlic, rock sea salt, extra virgin olive oil), 1 raw carrot, 1 yellow grapefruit, 2 apples, 1 corner yogurt.

    One bowl of Golden Nuggets, waiting for wife to come back from Asda with more food, too weak through lack of food to go with her

    Since my last post, 2 ham sarnies, one warm savoury sausage roll, Tuna Salad on granary, bag of cheddar and chives crisps, apple, orange, double decker and a fox's echo i cadged of a workmate, breaded mushrooms and garlic mayonaise dip at 10.30pm. Feel some strength returning now
