Absolutely not. They have a hot-pot type dish call something like Looooow, with lots of stock and typically maybe a kilo size fish in there. Various things are added (herbs, veg) as it cooks on a burner on the table. The fish (I think freshwater, like say a carp) is a kind of ghostly grey colour when the dish is ready. Ghoulish and for me it’s eyes are not appealing. It’s very flattering to be offered them. Po Boy (beef noodle soup) though I’d eat all day and night - it’s a wonderful light but tasty meal

I am still dining out on my experience in Cambodia where one menu made clear that they did not serve rat, cat, dog, monkey or worm.

    So I ate elsewhere.

I had what turned out to be goose neck in China. I’ve never been so pleased to find a bone in anything I’ve eaten

No eyes for me unfortunately. Did have dog on the odd occasion when it was served up at the gym in Bangkok.

I also had a bit of Shepherd's Pie with carrots and peas, and Swede Mash on top. Although it was all getting a bit healthy so i freshened it up with some lashings of Mexican Cheese.

Squid cooked with onions and chilli sauce; stir-fried leeks, chard and peppers; rice. (Last night, not breakfast this morning.)
