    Mooncake. Those of you with Chinese connections will be used to these rather strange (and very expensive) confections at this time of year. They don't taste like marmite, but they seem to have that effect on people: I love them, but I have met several people who think they are vile.

    Brötchen mit Zwiebeln und Matjefilet. Lecker.

    Night.
    Sunday night is almost always pizza. My wife the bestest pizza maker.
    But not today. Calamari and oven veg. Plus home made bread. Plus yogurt gelato, my fav.

    A rather fine Russian salad - a very underrated dish. A bit of a faff to prepare (loads of chopping!) but well worth the effort once in a while.

    I see a woman at a wedding thought she was having a teaspoon of avocado but it was in fact wasabi - it gave her heart failure, though she did make a full recovery.
