    Lasagne.

Go to any restaurant that serves lasagne, and you will have the choice of meat lasagne or a vegetarian alternative. Is my wife really the first person who has imagined that you can put both meat and vegetables (courgettes, carrots and red peppers tonight) in the same lasagne?
In his lifetime he suffered from unreality, as do so many Englishmen.

Nope. We do numerous variations on the theme with any combination of veg and meat. The only thing in common is the bechamel with cheese and usually (but not always) a tomato based sauce. We even do ones without the pasta using long slices of aubergine, courgette or roasted red pepper instead.

Today's lunch was nice. A winter salad of roast cauliflower and squash on a bed of mixed grains topped with stewed mixed mushrooms, pickled red cabbage and a caramelised red onion chutney.

Never had a bad meal at Doi Intanon - have not tried the other one - they have a branch in Bowness which was OK when we tried it years ago. Doi Intanon's saku - sago/semolina - is a great way to finish a meal.

Breakfast today: Toast, sliced avocado on top, fried bacon bits on top of that, fried egg perched on top of the lot. Yummy
Don't roll with a pig in poo. You get covered in poo and the pig likes it.

My next door neighbour works in the abbatoir and obviously their business has fallen off a cliff... so I've been living off free sirloin steak lately...!!

He did also offer some rhubard off his garden.
