Great photos. I raced Cader Idris on the Saturday and the heat was bad enough in that!!! but to be out in it all day and night is toughness in its self.

Having been born and raised in Rhydymain and now live in Brithdir and train constantly on the Aran ridge, Waen Oer & Ceiswyn ridge, Caders and Rhobell I HAVE to give this round a go!!!:w00t:

Even though i know the above sections well in particular Waen Oer & Ceiswyn and Cader I would have to start and finish at Bwlch Oerddrws and it's only 1.5mile behind my house  so not far to crawl home IF i made it.

The question I have is how does one go about putting a team together to take on the round??? I know that a lot of you guys know the sections like Rhinogydd, Migneint and Arenig very well and have the knowhow of how to go about it. I guess what I'm asking is if anyone would be interested in teaming up to support me?? But have a well deserved rest for now though.

Massive respect to Carwyn and team.......Fantastic.
Happy to road support with the Masters....

Anyone fancy a run out on the Rhinog section this Saturday 5th? Starting from Barmouth at around 8-30/9am, and going all the way to Trawsfynydd some 7hrs later!

Hiya. It's been a while since there was any interest, but this is just a quickie to let you know that Ainsley and Simon are planning on a reccie of the Rhinogs on Saturday the 23rd Feb if anyone was interested. I'm not sure if I'll be definately be going yet, but I'm hoping to go and maybe do the Cader section just before it if I do go up. I'm not sure what time their planning on starting though. I'm sure you'll let us know Ainsley.

Best of luck to Stewart Bellamy whose planning on an attempt of this wild round this Saturday starting from Barmouth at 6am! If anyones about and wanting a run out to see where this amazing route goes then I'm sure he wouldn't mind an extra set of legs to help get him round. Hope the weather holds

Caz, you beat me to posting this. I'm making my way up there Saturday night (with or without you) to help out in the last sections but I know Stewart is pretty short on help for the early sections Saturday daytime if anyone wants a run out over the Rhinogs/Arenigs etc. All hoping the weather isn't as bad as the forecast makes out, positive thinking may help.

Sounds like a good outing but I'm nursing a pulled hamstring so it won't happen for me this weekend... have fun!

I've just had an e-mail from Stewart, he's postponed due to the weather forecast (sensible decision). Will let you know when he goes again.

Attempt back on starting this Saturday morning. Fingers crossed for a good day (and night) out.
