A lovely 5 miles off road with Mrs DTR, I took her over my favourite secret run, the weather was positively balmy, we spotted lambs and plenty of snow drops, we even stopped and stood in a small Bronze Age settlement, contemplating the little hairy folk who were born, lived and died there, what did they see, Ingleborough is in the distance, did they see the fires of other distant hairy folk and wonder who they were??? it was great to see the back of the winter for the moment and to be running on the freshest of fresh spring days with my other half, it makes me realise why I love running so much, Mrs DTR who’s just on the cusp of that horrible age where hot flushes become a thing reckoned it cheered her up no end, after a sleepless night doing pot bellied stove impressions

How lovely. Been such an amazing day. Getting light in the evenings this last week too.

The lighter evenings are great, somehow the Bronze Age houses are better in the twilight, more atmospheric, that’s our plan for one of the evenings this week if the weather holds

Slightly annoying to have a cold just when it starts feeling like Spring. So I'm not running, but then, walking over Buck Hill and Beacon Hill gives me twice as long out in the fresh air than when I'm running.

It looks like the rain will wash it away

Needs some rain for my laurel hedge.

Very dry around the base. Been out and emptied the water butts on to them.
