Bivvied out at High Cup Nick on Wednesday night and atop Crossfell last night on a backpacking trip between Middleton and Hartside. I can't remember such a dry March and the fells, especially between Crossfell and Hartside are tinder dry in places. Not a good sign.

Having a week in Pembrokeshire and the Spring flowers are in full bloom. White and pink Campion, Thrift,Violets and many more against a backdrop of yellow Gorse and white Blackthorn.

Lovely down there, I hope the weather improves. Coast path is great and plenty of "up and down" which catches a few people out who expect a simple wander along the cliff tops! Where are you staying?
Don't roll with a pig in poo. You get covered in poo and the pig likes it.

Some good running to be had on the Pembrokeshire coast path. I particularly like the stretch from Whitesands Bay and St David's Head up to Abereiddy and back taking in the climb of Carn Llidi. Hopefully get to do that in 2 weeks time

We were in Dorset recently, not somewhere I would normally associate with hills but blimey the Coast path certainly had some serious ups and downs.

Little Haven, which is good. Walked Marloes peninsula yesterday which was great. Lovely county, always holidays at St Davids as a kid.
Went close to yours on the way down here.
