i did this last year and won a cake at broomhead and £20 for the lucky draw for a runner who had done all 3. oh and you get a commemorative glass
Ooo, F.I.R (four in three), think you know where I'm going with this...Sadly I'm away on an Orienteering jolly in Czech\Sweden for 2 weeks. Will be missing a few good 'uns in the time I am away, ah well.

    Pete,

Not 20th July pleeeease - thats the date for the Hathersage Hilly Triathlon and its my only chance to beat 'Swimskill' and I've already paid £30 to enter.

Leave it on 13th & let people vote with their feet - I think you will win!

    Regards, Andrew

Go for it Pete. Being a wimp I'd choose to do Peak Forest if there is a clash but would prefer to do both.

    Great Hucklow vs Peak Forest

There's a shedload of other races around that weekend:
    Charlesworth & Chisworth on 12th
    Bollington Nostalgia on 13th
    Gun Run on 15th

so moving Great Hucklow to the 20th sounds sensible

although personally I'll be doing the Gravy 6!

will deffo put Great Hucklow down as a "MUST DO" for 2009 though

Thanks for all the info - now more confused than ever!

Pete - if you do change the date could you let me know, & we'll head to Peak Forest. Next year though we'll be back to take on the Durham Old Boys!

Exclamation Re: Great Hucklow vs Peak Fore

After much hassle from the Dark Lord and looking at the very congested calendar, I have changed the date of Great Hucklow to 20th July.

Apologies for the clash with the Hath Hilly, but there are very few free dates in the summer now. Change of season not an option, for this year at least.

We'll have to invent some kind if sorting house for dates before the calendar is published. Thinking hat is on!

Thanks for noticing Swoop! Look forward to seeing you there.
How did I ever have time to work?
