    An emotional and stressful time. She is fortunate to have caring family around her, many don't.

    Hoping her last days are as comfortable as they can be.

    There are no better coping mechanisms at times like these than fresh air, exercise and wildlife.

    A large, recently fledged Blackbird chick startled me as it flew out of a bush, its wing brushing my shin, as I was mowing a lawn this afternoon.

    Our pair of swallows are looking less than impressed with the Welsh weather.

    On my ride round the reservoir today a male crossbill got up in front of the bike, wondered what it was but checked at home. Not seen one here before.
    Don't roll with a pig in poo. You get covered in poo and the pig likes it.
