The other day: four kestrels flying from tree to tree together - like a bunch of long-tailed tits. I can only assume it was a family group.

Today: two red kites about 200 metres from our house. I keep saying it: they're getting more common. Lovely to see.

There seem to be many more Kestrels about this year compared to previous years. Saw 3 this evening.
Visibility good except in Hill Fog

Yesterday evening, two badgers running across a road near the town centre. They were heading in the direction of the Grammar School, presumably on their way to dig up one of the beautifully kept lawns or playing fields there.

    Vermin AK.

I hope you kept a social distance of 2 metres from them or you might consider a TB test

I was actually in a car, with my son and his girlfriend; she is quite frightened of badgers, with their reputation for sometimes being vicious.

Saw a bird with what appeared to be distinctive black & white striped wings, in Longsleddale today.

    Possibly a Wagtail?
