A Sea Eagle seen from Bloodstone Hill, Rum on my 60th birthday. Nice
We have a Vole in our 'new' garden!! We now have an issue Re: Sorting that bit of garden out. We were going to dig loads of the plants up and try and get some order but there are burrows all round the front at the top of the retaining wall. Were also getting some bats and Swifts coming into the garden which we can watch from the 'french window'.

I have just seen your fantastic macro photos of damsel flies and spiders on Flickr Wharfeego, very impressive!
Saw a heron last week on the shore of Loch Fyne, and another one today on the river in the middle of Betws-Y-Coed.
Assume they are quite common then.... Nature is not my strong point. But they are lovely birds.
A pair of hummingbird hawk moths, a good year for them.

Cheers WC.
Here's one of them, spotted on some roadside vegetation at Leighton Moss...
Nice photo!
I've just returned from a few days in Pitlochry. Highlights were cuckoo, yellowhammer and osprey. The latter two at Loch of the Lowes.
There's a webcam, if you don't live near it - https://scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk...-lowes-webcam/
Highlights from last week's Scottish trip - Red-Throated Diver on Knoydart then a Black-Throated Diver on the LAMM, in the Fannichs.
Cuckoos absolutely everywhere!
