    mad March hares

    Nice sight in Waddington after our ride in the Ribble Valley,classic mad March hares,a female and three suiters all trying there best but she was having none of it,at least while we were watching

    Barn Owl quartering the rough grass along the edge of New Mills golf course at 7am today. Presumably hadn't put his/her clock forward!

    Fieldies have been moving back this way over the last week.

    Here's an interesting find whilst gardening at the tiny hamlet of Thorpe near Burnsall yesterday - frog foam that has some detergent-like substance - with anti-bacterial properties according to a paper I found... https://www.gla.ac.uk/media/media_110688_en.pdf

    Baltic round home this evening. Think the warblers have all gone back to Southern Europe or Africa 😳
